Sweet Freedom

I don't know if any men read this, but if there are, you may want to avert your eyes for this post.

Don't say I didn't warn you!!

I had an Endometrial Ablation done in June and while I was informed that it may not end my cycle it would make it much lighter than it previously was. I had one cycle which was so light I wasn't aware that I was having it at the time and that was it. I haven't had one since and it's been wonderful.

Yesterday I was going through the house emptying all the trash and while I was emptying the trash in the bathrooms and I decided to look through the drawers and to see if there was anything in there that needed to get tossed.

I did what women all over the world would like to do. I threw out every last pad and tampon in this house. I can't tell you how incredibly liberating it was to stuff all that crap into a garbage bag.

oh oh oh I am so green with envy....I want one. Mine have been so gross since having G. I wonder if I can convince my OBGYN to give me one...

Oh, I want this done. Did you have to complain about heavy periods before your OBGYN would do it? My periods aren't bad, but I'd lie if I need to. I just got Mirena which should eventually make mine go away too, but I'm really impatient.

Yeah I had to monitor how heavy my periods were and how often I had to change tampons/pads (sorry for TMI). Then let them know and they said I qualified. My insurance even covered the whole procedure!!
