Rebirth

I decided to ditch facebook and myspace for something that doesn't require as much time or effort from me, which is good because lately I've been somewhat of a lazy bitch. I blame my kids, they have sucked my will to send people handbags, diamonds, and chocolate on facebook and to make comments and post bulletins on myspace.

I'm hoping that the demands of a blog will be less than those of the aforementioned applications. I'm also hoping that lack of blogging for a few days will give me less guilt than failing to return chocolate or comments on facebook and myspace did. I haven't felt that kind of guilt since I left the Catholic church. I actually started having flashbacks of CCD and became concerned that if I didn't alleviate myself of said guilt, my husband would come home from work one day to find the kids crying and banging on the closet door where he would find me rocking back and forth with a bag of cheetos rambling about how I didn't mean to fall asleep during mass, but the smell of the frankincense made me feel mellow and hungry.
